Running CHIPS and low point in parallel

I've been pushing to use CHIPS for our series and the sailing committee
have agreed to try it, but want me to run the first series with both
scoring systems. I've had a look back throught the Chips postings but
can't see anything about this.

Is there an easy way that doesn't involve entering the results twice? I
made aliases of the competitors thinking that I could do something with
them, but they sit at the bottom of the screen staring at me in a sulky
manner.

Hi Ted,

Short answer to your question - Is there an easy way that doesn’t involve entering the results twice? - is yes!

Also you do not need aliases setup

Firstly click the UI button on the Toolbar

ensure PRO selected

tick High Points

tick Multiple Scoring Systems

Click OK

Now click Scoring Systems button on Toolbar

Click New Scoring system

Double click to edit the new scoring system just created, on mine it started Copy of

Rename to CHIPS, i.e. replace highlighted name which on mine started Copy of

Select CHIPS under the High Point Scoring options on left hand bottom side of window

click OK

Now click Score Series button Toolbar and select which scoring system you want to score by.

Hope this helps,

Kind regards,

Huw
