For info, I’ve just published an Android race timing app that interfaces with Sailwave via Google Drive. Competitors are selected from the Sailwave file and race results are posted back. This eliminates the tedious task of typing elapsed times into Sailwave.
It’s now available on Google Play as SailTrak Race Control. It will run on an Android phone or tablet, although for race timing the interface on a tablet is better because the larger screen allows a numeric keypad to be permanently displayed. A phone is fine for familiarisation.
We have been using SailTrak Race Control at Hollowell Sailing Club for a while, running it on an Ulefone Armor Pad 3 tablet and have integrated it into the Committee boat air horn.
