Sail number Wizard used to enter finish times which show only in the fleet IRC but not in the alias Jboat. On Score Series , Grouping Field set to Fleet. Published results show
IRC results correctly (Finish, Elapsed, Corrected). The separate Jboat Class results just show Place as a blank. I realise there is something I am not doing right for the entered times not applying to the alias boats, but what please.

Hi John,

I have looked at your file and could see nothing obviously wrong.

I have deleted the aliased boats and recreated them and everything
now works. All I can think is there is some corruption in the file
somewhere, which I will go and look at now.

Attached is the file I saved after my changes.

Kind regards,

Huw

Hi John,

I not that you used the “New Like” rather than marked the alias column as 1, rather than using “Edit”, “New Competitor Aliasing”.

This may have been the problem.

Hi John,

The problem with your file is although you have created an Alias of the competitors you haven’t told sailwave which it is a competitor of

If you use the Edit - New competitor aliasing this is automatic

But the way you have created it you need to set which competitor it is an alias of.
