We do this as well, thats just a html file upload though i believe isn’t it?
What i’m after is uploading a file i can actually extract the results from, so that i can build reports etc.
So if we could upload an xml or csv file that would be great.

I’m sure this must have been asked before.
- Is there any way of posting to a database like MySQL?
- Instead of uploading html to a site can we upload an XML file or csv file to an ftp area?
Either of these would help in integration with current websites.
Thanks

Hi,
that’s what we do. You can set it to FTP under the global settings. We’ve got a Joomla based website that looks for the incoming files and then presents them in a menu using the page title for the menu item.

You can export the sailwave file as xml, then (manually) ftp it elsewhere. But that file is the whole database (equiv of the *.blw), not just the results summary. Would require lots of filtering.
You could export the series summary to clipboard, paste into editor (e.g. notebook) and save as a csv file, then ftp that - also manual processes.
Is there a problem with extracting results from a html file upload?

You can export the series summary to the clipboard, that would give you a tab separated series summary.

The html is somewhat messy and extracting plain results from it is not straightforward.
I have written a post processor that takes the Sailwave html and outputs a simple html table, so I can incorporate that in our css driven web site. I could easily adapt that to just output csv results, or to communicate those results to a PHP/ASP web page.
cheers
