Yes. You can change the rating of the boat for an individual race to
that of the boat sailed by the person. You can do this on the dialogue
where you eneter the start/finish times.
We do allow it since we try to encourage people to sail and compete,
there are times where people are forced to sail a different boat
(damage, lack of crew etc.). The downside is that you might find people
changing boats to suit the conditions but so far we haven't found that
happening.
