If either (both) of you could inspect the current publishing format by clicking link below - and then give your recommendations as to which solution best suits - that would be helpful.

I just looked at the page you gave the link for and I'm afraid I find it
hopelessly confusing (there are a ton of links, none of which are
organized into tables). I fear that without some organization breaking
the races into separate webpages would make it even more impossible for
sailors to find the results they are looking for.
Personally, I'd break the current page into smaller ones to make finding
stuff easier - and at that point it might be possible to have a separate
webpage for each race. Plus, I'd put all of the multiple links into
tables. Otherwise, you're going to have to go with some version of
including all the crews for all the races in every one of the race and
series tables (which I personally find fairly ugly but it would
accomplish what you want).
