We are organising a GPS Speedsurfing event next week. We will be
sailing in heats and we base the ranking per heat on an AVG speed over
5 runs, 500 meter runs or Nautical Mile.
I have looked at the possibility to use Sailwave, but I have found no
features that would support it. The main thing is that we need to base
the ranking on the speeds and then the highest speed gets offcourse
the lowest points per heat.
Has anybody some ideas?
There is an option in the scoring system to show final points as the average
of the individual race poimnts, so if you coudl engineer points to be
average speed it would do the averaging for you and show you each separate
race. Points could be speed by entering an elapsed time as speed and
cvreating a custom points sucystem such that points=elapsed.
