As many of you may remember I created some Sailwave web forums some time ago
but the decision was to stay with the Yahoo group.
I agree with this decision but I'm now a bit worried about the traffic that
can be generated by specific topics like internationalisation.
I just realised that the forums could be used for such 'specialised' and
more technical chat; keeping the SUG general. Other specialised topics
would be templates and styles etc. Does that sound a useful compromise...?
Regards,
Colin

A "developer" forum would be very nice. So we can discuss the Sailwave development themes on another place and leave the mailinglist as it is (for "how to do" themes).

I may be a minority, but the traffic on the forum doesn't bother me, and
gives me a very broad insight into Sailwave and activities on the continent.
I would not recommend a change. Each of the subforum suggestions will have
periods of activity and (longer) periods of deadly quiet.

I suspect I'll use the SUG for the majority of my messages, only using the
forums when we have to hammer something really specific out. In hindsight I
was possibly getting a bit ahead of myself...
