Sailwave has worked fine on my laptop using Windows 10 with the icon pinned to the task bar. When I clicked the icon it opened. Since an update of Windows when I click the icon nothing apparently happens. In fact the program opens in the background. Has one of my settings been altered during the update?

I have not had Sailwave pinned to the task bar but as an icon on
the desktop. My desktop system was updated earlier today to
Windows 10 1903 plus the June updates. My desktop icon worked with
no problems; I also pinned Sailwave to the task bar by dragging
the desktop icon and when I clicked the icon on the task bar
everything worked as expected.
So I do not know what is going on with your system, sorry. A
couple of suggestions which may or may not work:
unpin Sailwave from task bar then re-pin to task bar.
unpin Sailwave from task bar and re-install Sailwave, then
re-pin Sailwave to task bar
Just for the record, which version of Sailwave are you using
please?
Kind regards,
Huw
