Can I output my scoring data entered locally on my laptop and feed it to regattaman?
Hi,
Would need more information about what RegattaMan needs in terms
of data format. Also information on what data you want to get to
RegattaMan.
I have tried this morning to go to the RegattaMan web site to see
if I could find out data format information but I am not
connecting, but that might be due to overnight maintenance - it is
09:00BST here in the UK.
Sailwave can save as
-
HTML file locally
-
HTML file via FTP to remote server
-
data out to Microsoft Excel
-
data out to Microsoft Word
-
an XML file
The first 4 options are available when publishing but the last is
found in the latest version of Sailwave which is not generally
available yet. If XML might be an option for you than get in touch
and the latest version of Sailwave can be made available. I have
attached the information in XML format of the latest regatta I
scored.Kind regards,
Huw

Hi
You can certainly output your results locally, but I looked on the the Regattaman web site and can not see any details of how they would import them.
If you can supply details of what formats they accept then I can give you a better answer to that question.
