I looked the code up on World Sailing web site and it said IRN.
Iran is not listed in RRS Appendix H that
I could see.

Which code are you using? According to
World Sailing it should be IRN.

Hi Hew,
pretty sure IRI is what they have on their sails… and in the WS membership section. Its not in Appendix G though…
IOC code is IRI too.
Sailwave has it as IRN though.

To summarize:
IOC code is IRI
I know they have IRI on their sails
WS membership list has them as IRN
http://www.sailing.org/about/members/mnas/index.php
However the WS membership page for Iran has them as IRI
http://www.sailing.org/about/members/mnas/iran.php
And they are not listed in Appendix G at all.
I have asked WS for clarification
