[sailwave] loading Race Duty Team

Hi Ian,

  I have replied to your earlier post 'Adding Duty Team' about

this.

  It should be possible if your system can associate a sail number

with the name on the duty list when the race team sign-in on your
system.

When importing race results via a CSV file there are 4 columns:

RaceNo, SailNo, Position, Code

1, 999999, ,OOD

1,111111, 1,

  This means sailno 999999 for race 1 has code of OOD and sailno

111111 for race 1 has finish position of 1st.

the blw file after each race is completed and then
uploads via ftp to the clubs website.

            The duty team, as I suspect is for many clubs, are

awarded average points via the scoring codes if they are
a helm who has competed in that particular series.

            Rather than manually going into each race. looking

to see if that duty team member has competed, and then
allocating the code accordingly, is there a way to enter
the duty team for that race as a seperate entity ?

            Just to explain a little further, my Management

system runs the race, logs all timings, competitors and
the race duty team as well as producing the results at
the end of the race, this data is then pushed into
sailwave to compile the series result s, so I can push
the duty team through at the same time ?

            Its a shot in the dark, but thought Id test the

water :slight_smile:
