Hi Colin,

I think:

2. should merge if the same competitor is found and append if competitor not
exist. In case of no result, because the competitor doesn't salils in one
file/race it should be an DNC.<

That's exactly how it works. Competitors that are not in the file are
appended.<

I have tried, but only results are appended for sailnumbers and class that match in the two files, but no competitors from the another serie is appended.

Must there be some preparation before the merge ?
