Hi Ted,
You do not want medal race but race weighting.
To 'switch on' race weighting functionality select Setup | User
interface and then near the bottom check the box alongside ‘Race
weightings’,
Now edit race and set the value you want, in your case 2.0 in the
box. To Edit information, right click in the column header of the
race you want set double points for, then edit the start and point
the weight value in the box. See diagram below

One medal race is easy but if a select a secondrace as a medal the first is reset to standard points.
I've had a topic search but haven't found anythinguseful. Any advice would be welcome.
