[sailwave] new dev build 2.03 build 1

I tend to put data files under a dedicated folder in my documents using system variables to find the right path. That reds to work with both xp and win7 and I would expect Vista. However haven’t tested with Vista as I skipped that one.

To be fair - on linux a native programme would be the same - a user can
have root rights (super admin) but you have to tell it you want to run the
programme…

William,

That was my problem and one solution on Vista as well. My
user name has administrator, don’t you love Microsoft.

Kind regards,

the program to run as administrator overcomes the write permission error.
This is an alternative solution for Colin to setup. Even though my login
is an administrator W7 needed one of the overrides (write permission/run as
admin)!

I’ll have a fiddle when I get home. Suspect I’ll be able to adjust as
necessary. Presumably it’s something that will need to be setup through the
program before it’s finalised for general use Thanks

Hi William,

Colin is equally frustrated as he has moved data files
to the recommended location under Program Data folder but for some reason
the permissions for normal users are to restrictive, the Program
