[sailwave] New version available 1.39

Hi Colin,

Just downloaded 1.39 and really like to new look. In reading the changes I
got the impression that you had tweaked it so that when scoring multiple
fleets it is now possible to have a separate start time for each fleet.
However, when I did a test run, I still found that the original start time
was assigned to all fleets. I don't know if I read into the changes too
much (given that this is what I'm hoping for), or if I have missed some
totally obvious step.

I did see the option to have scoring done "across all fleets", but didn't
select this. Is there something else?

BEER MATS 2
Unfortunately the beer mat manufacturer has let me down. Thanks to those of
you that offered to use them and distribute them on your travels. It doesn't
look like anything is going to happen now, but I'll keep your names and
addresses just in case they come through in the end.

Next major dev is the Volvo Prize algorithms for the World Youth Games.
Other dev still high on the list but didn't make it into 1.39 is high point
scoring systems, qualification profiles, admin fields for competitors and
more documentation.

Hi Fraser,

I did a tweak such that when you enter the first result for each fleet,
whether by the SailNo tool or by editing the result cell by hand - the start
time is left blank. Thereafter it picks this time up for the rest of the
fleet. You can pre-empt it - before entering any results - by simply
setting the start time for one competitor in each fleet. It may be that
I've screwed it up as I've been rushing 1.39 for a Sailboat show tomorrow
and have screwed other things up big time. I'll have a look on Sunday. NB:
there is a checkbox in Edit+Fleets that turns this behaviour on/off - not
sure if it needs to be ticked or unticked for the above but the tool tip
should help you.
