Fair enough. I was just thinking of my scenario, where I exclude all unsailed competitors after race 1, then add them back if/when they next sail.

Hi Mark,
But that depends upon why they were excluded - There are many reasons for excluding competitors.
Such as producing different sets of results. If you have actively excluded them Sailwave can’t know which ones it should include automatically. It is far safer to allow the scorer to decide.

Hi Mark,
I am sure you are aware of Edit Mark all sailed Competitors as included, this deals with aliases,I try and remember to do this before I Score Series
Jon, Maybe a remembered tick box on score series to Mark all sailed Competitors as included a some point in the future?
Cheers
Keith
Keith,
Thanks for the information – it is very helpful. I have seen this option (and use the opposite option after scoring the first race of a new series), but assumed that for the same reason that they are not unexcluded when the real competitor sails then they would not be considered as Sailed by this option. It will save me time rather than un-excluding the aliases manually when a competitor sails for the first time each series - which is what I have been doing for the last three weekends.
Mark.
