Just re-discovered an old problem. Sailwave doesn't save automatically
and doesn't ask you when you close the programme. Just had to load all
my data for new season twice. Is this a settings thing ??

Mike,
No it is not a settings thing as far as I know, we have to remember to Save. I personally would want control over such a feature. I think this an enhancement request to Colin.
There is a message at the bottom of the Sailwave screen saying Save Needed when Sailwave thinks something has changed which should be saved.
Kind regards,
Huw

If there is a message at the bottom, it means the information is flagged somewhere, so it could be quite easy to solve the problem.
Quitting is already stopped by a message about “obsolete items” and “new items needing translation”… when you are working with a locale…

Hi.
When i try to close SW, and I have made any changes in the file
without saving, it do display a warning (pop-up window), that ask if
I would like to save before quitting.
Running:
1.95 b6 - "flat" without locals activated
Both XP and Vista
I took a view in the earlier mails according this problem, and back
then it was the display-setting in SW, that apperently was wrong. It
was not showing "finishes" or "race points" - could that be it?

I tested it and received the "save" in both actions Close and Quit
Do you use 1.95Build6?
