Sailwave on Linux

Hi for those interested,

I have just tried out Sailwave on the following Linux distributions:

  • Linux Mint 13

  • Ubuntu 12.04

  • openSUSE 12.1
    These were new installations using Virtual Box on a Windows Vista
    Business 32-bit with SP2 Intel Core Duo 2.3MHz system with 2GB RAM.

    For all 3 I used the following steps

  • installed WINE windows program loader

  • downloaded Sailwave

  •     right-clicked downloaded Sailwave and selected open with WINE,

    waited a short while for WINE to be set-up for my username and
    then normal Sailwave installer window appeared
