I’ve run it under Virtual Box (open source) with XP and worked fine. Copied and pasted results to Xcell on Mac and came through fine as well.

Subject: [sailwave] Sailwave on MAC
Hi,
Just wanted to find out if anyone is running sailwave under ‘Parallels’ on a Mac?
How is it behaving.
Eddie
Eddie,
I don't have access to a Mac but Sailwave runs under several Linux
distributions (examples are openSUSE, Ubuntu, Mint) using WINE. So
in my opinion as MacOS is based on UNIX it should be able to run
WINE and therefore Sailwave.
There have been posts to this SUG previously with indications about
running Sailwave on MacOS, plus there is also a dedicated SUG for
Mac Users.
All the best for getting Sailwave running in the environment that
you would like.
Kind regards,
Huw

Hi Anders,
Thanks for the information.
I took the plunge and installed Parallels on my iMac, and everything worked first time.
I was very impressed with the install as the precess was faultless.

Hi Mac Users,
I have just successfully installed on a Mac for someone using the
instructions below, although the link to the font file no longer
works. It all seems to work from a very quick test.
One question was not answered in the instructions below and perhaps
you can help.
Question - How does one create an association between a Sailwave
.BLW and the Sailwave.EXE?
Thank you for your assistance from someone who is not very Mac
savvy!
Kind regards,
Huw
