Use VM Ware Parallels desktop if it's a powerful Mac, or if it's an intel based mac, use BootCamp to start up in Windows. I find the latter quicker.

I use VMWare fusion and an old copy of Windows 2000.

Hmm Interesting!
Have run MS for decades and last year i tried Ubuntu (Linux). And after many trix I got Sailwave run under Wine in Ubuntu with a little font trick without windows - see Ubuntu on this forum.
Last week I bought a MackBook Pro and found a wineapplication on the net called WineBottler (http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/). Installed that and Sailwave. Got it up and running but have the same fontproblem as described in the Ubuntu topic.
As I´m a really newbie on Mac I have not found how to do the same thing with Mac as I did for Ubuntu.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

I reported last week that the solution for the wine bug that appeared recently seems to be (on Ubuntu flavours at least) to delete (or rename) /usr/share/wine/fonts
I'm not sure if Mac has the same file structure (I know its based on linux) but basically this is in the linux file structure not the C: drive of wine.
Would be worth taking a look. It works for me with the folder renamed so you can rename it, test it and if it makes things worse name it back again.
Hope that helps.
(Or - format the MacBook and put linux on it )

Hi
Similarly I run Sailwave on a MacBook Pro via PC emulation with VMware Fusion and Windows XP.

Hi,
I would never format my new Mac to put on Linux
But does anyone run Sailwave without installing windows with Parrallel links or simillar OS-switchers?
What I really want is to run it under Wine/Winbottle or similar. But yes Calum, It looks that it is the same problems we had for Ubuntu. But I haven't figure out the filestructure yet on the Mac.
Anyone?
