It is usual (in the SI’s) for a duty to score 1 point, or the average of the races they have taken part in, if you leave them at a disadvantage you will soon have no OOD’s, and this
score is set up in the Setup > Scoring System
My own Club SI’s say - The duty team (race officer, starter/recorder and ‘patrol boat’ drivers & crew) shall score one point. Only a single one point duty score will normally be permitted in a series

Subject: [sailwave] OOD Scoring
Using OOD Code, I have met a concern.
One sailor has sailed the minimum races to count with no OOD duties.
Another sailor has sailed one less than the minimum races to count plus one OOD duty and as a result has to count a DNS which puts him at a disadvantage (and he has been complaining).
Is there a way round this?
