It is a bit more complicated ! I am only just starting with Sailwave and will have to learn the system.
My proposed Personal Handicap/Pointscore was to allow all those people who don't sail every week, or who move around the fleet to have some motivation to sail more often.
In our small fleet we have people who will sail in any position in up to five classes during the season. I am a bit short on time at the moment, but will get right into Sailwave soon. We have our Biannual Historic 18 Footer event on this weekend.
