Hi Colin,
Will take a look at what you suggest. I didn't notice it there. What you are proposing seems a great way forward. We often have a number of prizes based on a core set of results. A particularly tricky one is that its not always the same yachts that are in a team or enter two handed from race to race.

Have a look at the team prize wizard - depending on which version you have
it'll be in the PlugIn menu or the publish menu. It does what you want I
think. i.e. take the existing scores and add up points across teams.

I agree that this needs dumping and generalising in the way you suggest.
What I had in mind were facilities to generate 'extracted results', so there
are the real scored results and the extracted results. There would be N
ways og generating extracted results.

Added clarification. We have a number of clubs of which they each nominate 3 of their yachts to be the team. They need not be the same team for each race of the series. We take the score of each yacht for a team in each race and add them for that club to find out who is winning.
