I agree with Bill.... yyyymmddhhmmss is the least confusing as a global
standard

We also use YYYYMMDD in programming and other areas where sorting is
required since this the only clean way to sort dates in text format. (The
standard at my company for timestamp storage is YYYYMMDDhhmmssss)
