Oops Ralph , just realised the obvious problem with my e-mail … handicap 1 & 2 are not discardable so rather defeating the aim !

I don’t think there is a means by which you can define the series to achieve the result you want automatically. I think the only solution is to define the pursuit race as non-discardable and set the discard profile to 0,0,1. If you don’t sail all three handicap races on the first day you will then need to manually change the discard profile to 0. This will give you the result required.

It looks as though we will have to continue to rely on someone remembering to change the profile

when Q and F don’t have floating discards as
per Add C, I usually use two files…

We only have 3Q races & 1 Final & were using the Q&F options to solve a 4 race regatta

Problem can be dealt with by manual intervention if all 3 Q races are not sailed
