[sailwave] Re: Rules etc forum

Colin,
thanks for your endorsement to use the Sailwave group for general rules
enquiries.
I have always found the members of this group friendly, helpful and informed,
(bit like you really!) so will keep posting my problems until you all tell me
to stop.
May be less in the future as I have just retired as Dinghy Capt. at BFYC.

Regards
Andy

Colin,
I am likewise happy to hear of using the forum for general rules/etc forum.
Are we to send discussionary letters to a subset or other location within
this sailwave forum?.

PS. Just sent in registration for Lake Champlain Yacht Club www.lcyc-vt.org
where we tested/used a beta version for a year, and decided ,upon
downloading Rev 1.45, that it was time to register. You might consider
that approach in general. Beta being available for club trial and gaining
commitment from Club Board members, whereas final versions REQUIRE
registration for
downloading. Just a thought. The idea
is really no different than getting an old demo from Virtual Spectator to
see the last Louis Vuitton Cup, but having to pay for watching the current
racing series.
