[sailwave] Results

Hi Chris,

Publish | Results

Then tick/set options in the “Series summary” and “Publish race details” regions appropriately. For example set “All sailed races” to includes the details (elapsed/corrected etc) of each race in the published results. NB the published results are sensitive to the sort order that you are currently displaying on the screen.

But maybe I have misunderstood you…?

Regards,

Colin

Hi Colin

Yes but how do I put all 18 race results into one e-mail. Each time you open a different set of results it creates another e-mail message.

thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

Once in your browser you can email the results from there (File+Send+PageByEmail in Explorer) or you can download the latest beta of Sailwave 37 from the bottom of the web page - this has a dedicated ‘publishing destination’ of an email - it uses MAPI - so your email client needs to be MAPI compliant - like Outlook and Outlook Express are…

Hi Again Colin

During the year we have completed 5 Series of races each up to 18 races per series + 10 or so individual races, what I want to do is send all the results to one person as 15 or 16 different attachments in one e-mail can this be done.

Chris

Hi Chris,

OK, I see what you mean. There are no multi-series facilities in Sailwave at all but you can do it using windows. Publish all the results to files in a folder, go to the folder using ‘MyComputer’ and multi-select all the files you want to email - right click and “send” to an “email recipient”.

Regards,

Colin
