With all these different point systems, it would seem like the best thing
to do is to devise a module where the user can define their own point
system rather than making different point systems. If you can make a form
where the user can choose if it is time based or point based and allow the
user to define how each of the places are determined. I am not sure if a
language has to be created to allow some scripting to accomplish all these
different systems. Colin should be able to take a look at the point
systems, see what seems to be similar in each of the systems and devise a
module where anyone can create their own point system to use in their
regatta.
