I got the same problem in Mac OS X 10.5.8 and (a fully paid)
CrossOver.
When I tested the combination 4 month ago everything worked fine.
See

.

I hope they find some solution.

Aha - this at least points in the direction of some diagnostics.
Quoting from the linked discussion:

Have you tried adding the ‘Core Fonts’ package to your bottle?

Thanks, but unfortunately this did not help. I got 35 new *.tff
files
in c:/windows/fonts, but no *.fon files and also none of them match
the names (below) which are missing.

On my Ubuntu Wine install where this works fine there are no *.fon files
in C:/windows/fonts either. BUT they do appear in this folder:

/usr/share/wine/fonts

I’m noit quite sure how my fonts got there - a package installer will
have dropped them there for me i suspect

sudo apt-get install msttcorefonts
is alwasy a possibility
