No, when I scored a series and gave a sailor RDGa it included the DNC points allocated in earlier races. When I calculated the average by hand (using only sailed races) he scored 9.5 point less.

Hi Andy,
I would create a new code called OOD (I think Sailwave generates one by default actually) and set it’s “method” to “Average all except DNC”. RDGa serves a specific purpose of averaging including DNC as recommended (but not forced) by RRS 2001-2004. i.e. you may need RDGa as it stands so use another code for OOD/Rescue-duty.
