Sailwave Support

Hi,

I'm having trouble answering all the support emails that I get directly.
Would the SUG members mind if I promoted the SUG as the place to get help
more 'aggressively' than I do now? Of course, if the message went
unanswered I'd respond to it. I suppose the question is, does anybody have
any strongly negative feelings about this; I would hate members to think I
was 'taking advantage'...

Regards,
Colin

Great idea. How can I help? Seems like you ought to set some ground rules.
For example, how long would you wait to see if someone in the SUG responds
before, you answer? Is anyone currently acting as a moderator?

George, i set up the SUG on Yahoo groups last spring after pretty much the same sort of request from Colin. Colin asked me to set up the group so that it could be seen to be fully independent of the manufacturer. There is no ‘moderator’, it is open to free use by all its members, my role is simply to be the administrator. From Colin’s perspective maybe a more aggressive link from the help menu on sailwave to the group would help.
