Hi, Colin.

I need to do some "Rethinking" about this. Ralph probably showed me the way...

My approach is as follows:

The Norwegian Optimist Dinghy Assosiation wants to run all races as flights. There are totally 4 Weekend races, where the goal is to run 6 (12) starts. Sometimes you gets less.... 3 of these Weekend races are for qualifications to international events, and all 4 together gives an Overall winner.

In all these races there are different numbers of boats (Some starts only in the firs weeken, and some in only the last), and there are also Swedish and Danish boats, which shall not count for neither Qualifications nor Overall results.

The Assosiation wants all races to count, and individually to be discardable. So if you can't start in the first weekend, you can do the rest and maybe discard all races in the firs weekend....

After 9 races you can discard 1, and after 24 you can discard 9.

The Weekend races are held at different Clubs. This year everyone has used SW, so it's a little bit easier...

After each weekend, I need to put all races together. When doing that, I also need to keep each start separately, because of Codes scoring.
Actually, I should have kept each Weekend separately because of "Max. number of boats in anyone start".

SW 1.58 have been used, and it scores approximately correct. There are som minor errors/variances, but the qualifications are correct.

These are my approaches. As I said, I need to think about the problems to be addressed once more....

context, I didn't realise anybody was doing that in yet. I'll get to it 
this weekend. Can you explain your approach, i.e. why all the merging and 
importing...? - Just so I understand your context.

If I just can change the Flight column in a series, and make it 
into "Race specific flights" for that series it looks OK when importing...
