The new version will not install – error message saying it is expecting a file size of X and the actual is y and freezes. Do we need to delete the old version first?

Do you have the corrected version (filesize 1.4MB) ?

Some Antivirus-Software (E.g. Kaspersky) identifies parts of the Sailwave code as dangerous: "Client-SMTP.Win32.Blat.a" and aborts the download to early.
Try to download the installation file with a linux systems software or inactivate Your Antivirus-Software during the download (not recommended !!!).

I didn't have this problem with my download (I use Avast antivirus).
The download is sw2_5_2.exe Would Kaspersky try to unpack that file during download to check for virus?

Actually, I think most (if not all) good anti-virus programs these days check for viruses inside compressed files. I would guess Avast checks it but doesn't detect it as a false positive while Kaspersky does.
