Hello,
I am a memeber of the scoring committee for a small sailing club in
central Indiana and we are currently reviewing scoring software for our
race program. Sailwave comes highly recommended, but I have a question
regarding how the points are tallied. I understand most race programs
assign points to the vessel, but can this be changed to assign the
points to a skipper? We have a number of round robin races where
skippers are required to race different boats, but these races still
count toward our high-point series. Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Nathan Harris

In Sailwave, scoring is normally done via the `Sailno Wizard’. Contrarary to its name, however, scoring can be entered on any field, e.g. Helm. In the wizard, there is a section where the required field can be selected.
Or you could enter results directly (place or time).
