Scoring by class

Hello ,

I have a small problem.

I score laser 4,7 European championship. The. (under 16 class is extracted from the overall results and calculated without recalculation.

I score by class but the flights get confused.

What can I do?

Hi Elena,

  If you are extracting and not re-scoring then things should be

OK. If you would like to send me the Sailwave file, I will take a
look and see if I can spot anything not quite right. A copy of the
Sailing Instructions in English would also be helpful.

Hi Elena - Assuming I understand correctly the easy way of doing this is:-

Score and publish full results and save file, then using the Tools set competitor field mark the non under 16’s as excluded

Let’s take a similar example - these are a full set of results

but we want to publish a set of European only (under 16’s in your case)

This sets the one we want to exclude

Now hide the excluded competitors by clicking the X in the ribbon

Now seed the rank column

Now publish but don’t rescore and you will get the results you want

You can then either use Tools set competitor field to remove the excludes or easier just close the file without saving.
