Scoring code RDG

I think I need a bit of help understanding RDG. We
have just finished the 2000 Nationals at Castle Cove. The results
were produced with HAL’s Race Results (version 16.1.1.0). They can
be seen at . In the first race two boats have their points set with the code
RDG_2, which is the average of all the other races (RDGa in
Sailwave)
The points allocated, 3.6 and 10.4, do not affect the points given
to any of the other boats, so HAL shows the points as 1, 2, 3,
3.6, 4 etc
When I transferred the results into Sailwave and score the series
I get 1, 2, 3.5, 3.6 , 5,…10, 10.4, 11.5,…
I must be missing something, but I don’t understand why the
adjacent boats have their points changed in Sailwave, but not in
HAL. In fact the boat that came 4th in race 1 gets penalised by 1
point. Why?
In case it helps my Sailwave file attached
