Dear All,
2 scoring questions - somewhat similar.
1. When a race is cancelled for bad weather how is SW scored. I have
set up the series with race numbers and dates, so if race is just
ignored all the following race numbers and dates are wrong.
2. When a fleet does not have a scheduled race in a series, how can I
tell SW. I don't want to have to set up 2 series just for 1 fleet.

It sounds like you want to re-number the races - don't think there's a way of automatically doing that?/

Hi Mike,

Most users just leave the race there without results as an audit trail.
Sailwave knows it was not sailed because there are no results so diesn't try
to discard it or anything. Alternatively you could delete ot; if you delete
race, race N=1 becomes race N etc.
2. When a fleet does not have a scheduled race in a series, how can I
tell SW. I don't want to have to set up 2 series just for 1 fleet.
You don't need to (if everything is working correctly). When scoring by
groups Sailwave recognises an empty group and skips it completely (c.f.
above). To let Sailwave do this make sure you don't manually enter DNC
results where in fact the race waqs not sailed.

Colin
