scoring question

I'm new to Sailwave. With the help of an experienced user, we
scored a fleet of 6 1-design boats. The finishing times of boats 2
and 3 were 1 second apart: 00:50:36 and 00:50:37. Sailwave
assigned them pts as 2,2, i.e., a tie for 2nd place. The remaining
boats were properly scored (1,2,2,4,5,6). When we changed the
finish time for boat 3 to 00:50:38, the correct scoring was obtained
(1,2,3,4,5,6). Why didn't Sailwave correctly handle two times that
were one second apart? Is there a program setting that I have not
set correctly? Thanks for your help.

Hi David,

It sounds like you have a rating system set. Can you check that - Edit
menu -> EditScoringSystem -> RatingSystemTab -> RatingSystem field - is set
to "None".

NB: just tried it here with no rating system and your two times - and it was
OK...
