One thing I would like to see is to have gaps in the positions within a race. To explain:
At my club we have a series of series which splits results into Cat and Mono hull fleets. In some series there is a cat fleet start and a dinghy fleet start so there is no problem as the results for each fleet go 1,2,3 etc. However some series have a combined fleet and result so you could get the first mono hull being 5th but if you give them a 5 in the series of series that becomes a 1 if you dont put in dummies for 1 to 4.
I may be missing something obvious if so I wouldn't mind.

Can you explain in more detail or post an example of a
series like this scored by hand etc.
