Series Result and races to count

Hi Guys,
I'm a SailWave newbie and impressed so far, but have a question.

I have a series that I want to publish results for with 4 races 1
discard and 3 to qualify. I have a number of yachts that haven't
races 3 races, but there results are coming out in the series
results. Not entering a yacht for a race results in DNC. How to I
get to only listing those yachts in the series results which have
started 3 races?

Many thanks,
Andy.

Hi Andy,

Have a look at the discard profile FAQ linked to below. The qualification
profile works in the same way but defines the number of aces needed to
qualify. Get back to us if you still have problems and I'll add a
qualification profile FAQ as well.

http://www.sailwave.com/index.php?page=faq

How do I set up races to qualify?
Lets say that in a 6 race series the sailing instructions state that a
competitor must complete 3 races to qualify. You can setup a qualification
profile in Sailwave to specify these rules. A qualification profile is a
list of the number indicating the number of races needed to qualify when at
least 1,2,3,4... races have been sailed. The qualification profile for the
above sailing instructions would therefore be 3,3,3,3,3,3.
You can set up the qualification profile from the Edit+ScoringSystem menu
item. Sailwave automatically indicates which boats do not qualify (DNQ) when
scoring the series based on the number of races sailed.
Note that you can safely leave gaps in the races sailed without any side
effects; i.e. if race 4 (say) is not sailed you can just leave its column of
results blank; it will not be included when counting the number of races
sailed. When using multiple fleets the same qualification profile applies to
all fleets in the regatta.

COLIN .... You might want to add the above to the FAQ's I didn't see
anything covering this in the latest list.
