Setting qualifying criteria

How do I set either a number of races or percentage formula as a basis
to qualify for a long series? I was ablt to do this last year, but I
reinsatlled Sailwave a couple of months ago and I can't remember how I
I did it.

My club has a series where 40% of races count so I used the formula s*0.4

in the discard profile on the Series scoring tab after clicking the Scoring System button.
