Setting up alias

Hi,

I’m fairly new to Sailwave so this might be a basic question. If I have boats sailing in two divisions (in my case an IRC fleet and a Progressive NHC fleet) I want to enter the times only once. I believe the way to do this is to set one of the entries up as an alias of the other (i.e, I’ll have the same boat entered twice but in two different fleets). I can’t see where to set the second entry as an alias of the other. Any ideas?

Dave,

Welcome to Sailwave.

  Sailwave by default is 'configured' to essentially for single

class fleet racing. Additional functionality is available but has
to switched on.

  •     To have access to the 'aliasing' functionality for a series,
    in an open Sailwave file
  • click ‘Set up’ on menu bar
  • in drop down list select ‘User interface’
  •     in window that opens tick check box beside 'Competitor
    aliasing’
    This should get you started.
