Sorting Published Results

I am new to Sailwave, trying to score a summer series using high point (CHIPS) system. I have set up and scored 3 races. I then "publish" individual races and results are sorted on the points column high to low with the winner on top. The "rank" column is also correct and I can sort on that column to view results. However, when I try to publish the overall series summary, the "rank" column shows "1st" for everyone and the results are sorted by the "Total" column low to high with the winner on the bottom.

Can anyone help me properly sort the series summary with the winner on top or re-calculate the rank column to manually sort on that column?

thanks

Judy,

I don’t normally score using CHIPS, but I do have a set of regatta results scored by that method. It scores correctly and publishing a series summary produces a correct output, i.e. ranked correctly and nett and total points in descending order.

Perhaps you could send another email to the group, attaching your sailwave file? - we can then see what is going wrong.

Hello Judy, I have seen this happen, if you score then sort and then publish, multiple races will not sort correctly when published, seems the manual sort overrides. The trick is to score then publish and races will publish correctly sorted.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I now have results
sorted properly!
