Specfic Result

Due to competitor losing a Mediation (me unfortunately) I have to change a result to a specfic value eg. if I came in 8th out of 10 boats that came out that night, our SI's indicate a 40% scoring penalty if you loose a Mediation. Therefore I should add 4 (40% of 10) to my score of 8 therefore 12. How do I give myself a 12 for this race? The rules also state that it result should not be worse than a DNF (11 in this specific instance), but I still would like to know how to enter a specific position result.

Brian,

Sailwave can handle this So it is clear that it is a penalty following mediation I suggest

you create a new scoring code MEA and set the properties to a %age
penalty. Can you post the exact wording from your SI’s, as it could
make a difference to the exact settings?
PS - I did exactly this for the recent Laser Radial World &
European Championships held in Largs the last couple of weeks.
