I remember in a previous version of Sailwave you could use the laptop
clock to time the start sequence and the finish times.
Does this still exist, if so where?

Are you sure it was Sailwave? in the sail number wizard you can recoed
finish times using the system clock, but it was added after a couple of
bottles of red wine and I'm not sure if it's pragmatically useful! I
haven't done the start sequence because other software does that and I
didn't want to step on ties etc. See this link:-
