Strange results from V 193 Build 3 and Build 1.97 B27

Hi Colin,

I spit scorekeeping this summer with another sailor in my fleet. He started
using
V1.93 build 3. I never upgraded my laptop beyond 1.46 and my home machine
was at
1.57. During this checking I installed 1.94 B27 on my desktop.

While compiling results for our season points and also to send into US
sailing, I discovered
some stange results. It seems that with the 2 newer versions the Portsmouth
Wind corrected
numbers are not being used correctly. I never had this issue with 1.46 or
1.57.

For example, Our race Sebago 2 (link:
http://xrsolutions.net/CRANNE/Results/SebagoII2006.htm)
Race 1 and Race 5 are bad. Race 2,3 and 6 are ok. The normal results will
display the USPN default
number with the Series Summary, and the wind corrected number with the
individual race times.
I used a H16 to check this. Default # is 76, and that number shows up during
Race 1 and 5.
When I rerun the file using 1.94, I get the same results.
Here is the H16 line from ratings.csv: USPN H16 76
"81.5,78.7,74.1,71.4"

Race Sebago 3 (http://xrsolutions.net/CRANNE/Results/SebagoIII2006.htm) only
shows
the default portsmouth Number and never uses the wind corrected number.

Race Pinepoint (http://xrsolutions.net/CRANNE/Results/Pinepoint2006.htm)
again only seems to show
the default portsmouth numbers.

Can you look into this> I can send the .blw files if you want.

One other question: Several years ago there was talk of a ratings calculator
for making on the spot portsmouth
ratings within sailwave. Is that still on the roadmap? I spend a lot of time
creating new ratings at events when
someone new shows up with a non standard boat or someone sails light or uses
a spin, etc. I notice now that I
can not even get into the ratings file directly from the main program.

I will include the blw files.

Thanks

Scott Malcolm
