Team Prizes

I am running a general handicap event where apart from prizes for the 1st, 2nd etc, there will also
be a prize for the best team (consisting of 3 competitors).
Is there any way that I can use SW to help determine the best team results without having to resort
to a painstaking, manual analysis?

Use a row (such as nationality) and call it team, enter the boats in the teams 1,2, etc and score by team.

Presume you mean column
Are you referring to 1.58?

Not had chance to try your suggestion but presumably the 'score by team' is the same principle as
the old 'score by fleet'
On this basis, won't I just get the 3 boats in each team scored against each other??
I have not been told yet how the team result is calculated but it is likely that it will be on the
sum of their final regatta positions. (sorry if I am being a bit dim today)

In Sailwave v1.58 just go to the Plug-ins menu item and select Team
rankings, it works for me :wink:

I see that it is based on net points so will need to make sure that this is stated in the SIs.
If it was necessary to produce the result based upon position, is there a quick fix?

I have had a quick look at the htm file but unfortunately, have yet to make the transition from VBA
to html so can't see
anything obvious

Ralph,

Currently it is all hard coded by Colin, apart from the options given. If
you need something different it will be a case of using Excel or something
similar.
