Team Scoring result not what I expected

Hi, I am new to SailWave, and getting used to it by entering results from a previous 2 race series. I have used the Publish->Team Prize Table to make team scores for the top 3 boats from each club, and the results are not what I added up by hand.

I have attached the team report (2017SouthernWesternportChallenge2.htm), and the main report (2017SouthernWesternportChallenge.htm), as well as the actual SailWave file (2017SouthernWesternportChallenge.blw) in case that helps.

What I expected was the top 3 competitors for SGYC were the 1st, 3rd, and 4th places, with series totals of 3, 6, and 6 points, adding to a total of 15. Rhyll placed 2nd, 6th, and 7th, with 5, 12, and 13 points, adding to a total of 30. The best 3 Cowes boats placed 5th, 8th, and 9th, with 12, 15, and 21 points, adding to a total of 48 points.

The Sailwave team points are SGYC 8, Rhyll 15, and Cowes 22, and I would like to know how these scores are calculated. Perhaps I have set some setting wrong, that is why I have attached the SailWave file.

Hi - and welcome to Sailwave

First in the .blw you have an Optimist so I excluded that

If you then publish the team prize table with these settings

You get

Inline images 2

Which I believe is what you were expecting

Thanks for your reply Jon, unfortunately the images are not displaying, it just says inline images with nothing displayed or clickable. I have tried firefox, chrome, and even internet explorer on linux and windows with no luck. I have turned off everything I could find to help but no luck.

Perhaps you could post the instructions as text, or attach the images rather than put them inline.

You should be able to see the images in your email notification of the post I believe

Thanks Huw and Jon, I changed it to Net Points rather than Rank and it was exactly right.

I think Sailwave is very good, there are a lot of options which makes it very flexible, but can trip you up as happened here.
