Hi,

Sounds somewhat stupid but where should the burgee.gif and venue.gif files reside so that they get included on the published result page instead of just a blank placeholder square?!! I guess I have to replace the burgee.gif file of 44x50 pixels with our own picture file and use the same name? Ditto for the venue one.

Seems a great program and I will be using it for the Henley Midmar Yacht Club juniors in South Africa.

Thanks,

Hi Rob,

Here's some hopefully useful pointers for you. I posted the following
reply to a similar query:

For anyone who has trouble with displaying a logo on the website when
publishing Sailwave results.

The method I adopt is, within Sailwave:

1. Choose 'Edit Series Properties' from the menu bar
2. For both 'Event burgee' and 'Venue burgee', enter your desired
logo filename with no associated path, e.g. burgee.gif, as opposed to
say c:\data files\Yacht Club\Results\burgee.gif
3. Ensure that there is a copy of this logo file,
a) stored in the website directory where the results are picked up
from. This will ensure that your logo is displayed when viewing
results via Internet.
b) In your local directory where you might store results for review
prior to uploading to your website.
c) In the C:\Program Files\Sailwave directory, (or wherever you have
chosen to install your version of Sailwave), as this is where
Sailwave looks if you choose 'Publish to web browser' from
the 'Publish Results' option.

I know it may sound a little awkward, but it takes seconds to sort
out and your logo appears in all the right places!!

Hope this helps.

Regards,

John.
